Each map shows a different detail about the locations we have studied and more information about each location can be found by clicking on its marker icon on the map. Our analysis of these maps can be found on the Analysis page where we answer our research questions using the maps below.

Map of Location Type (Map 1)
This map is a general map of all the locations we have have researched on and classifies them by
the type of location they are, such as a mosque, a restaurant, a grocery store or a bakery.
Map of Year of Establishment (Map 2)
This map displays the times when these different food locations and mosques were established. The different colours represent the decade in which these locations first opened. You can find the exact
year by clicking on each marker icon.
Map of Ethnicity of Owner/Founder (Map 3)
This map displays the ethnicity/nationality of the people that own or founded the mosque/food location. The different colours denote different ethnicities/nationalities.
Map of Ethnicity of Food Served (Map 4)
This map displays the ethnicity of the food that restaurants and bakeries serve at their location. The different colours denote the different ethnicities. Mosques and grocery stores are coloured white as they do not serve a particular ethnicity of food.
